	Robert Mittenthal Partner Rob Mittenthal began his career in executive search in 1989. Prior to co-founding Roberts & Ryan he was the Chief Operating Officer of one of Chicago's top search firms. Under his leadership, the firm made Crain's Chicago Business' Executive Search Firm Top Ten List for the first time, and was recognized by Inc. 500 for being one of the fastest growing companies in America. Rob has an excellent reputation with industry leaders as a trusted resource for their team building efforts. Now focused on Senior Management, Rob is the architect of the unique value proposition Roberts & Ryan presents for clients - completion and accountability in addition to traditional sourcing and recruitment. Having grown up in the executive search business, he has completed searches for all major CEO direct report functions including Finance & Accounting, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Legal, General Management, and IT, as well as senior positions specific to the financial services, professional services, technology, energy, and manufacturing industries. In addition, Rob has helped the firm develop a solid reputation within the private equity community and in the past three years has developed an Intellectual Property legal practice helping law firms recruit exceptional Intellectual Property partners and practice groups seeking to move to new platforms. Born and raised in Chicago, Rob is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago. He currently resides in Glen Ellyn, Illinois with his wife and their three daughters. He is an active member in a variety of business, community, and Asian American organizations, and is an avid Cubs fan and golfer, resulting in a heavy dependency on antacids.
